Hi everyone,
I've decided to take down my images for a while until I can properly watermark them. Unfortunately, art thieves think that they can take my work without crediting me or acknowledging me as the artist, so until then, I don't feel comfortable having myimages up whilst I am working to resolve this issue. I am sure you can understand.

Hi everyone.
I'm so sorry I haven't posted anything before now (I seem to keep saying that...sigh) but I have been so busy lately both with drawing and family commitments. My SALA Festival show is going really well so far even though the venue (Old Adelaide Gaol) is far more quiet than I had anticipated. Unfortunately it's the 'quiet time of year'. I've been in there a couple of days where there has only been a couple of people through. Having said that, I've sold 4 originals so I'm absolutely…

This is another fantastic option to
sell your work online which I have just discovered and it is probably better than
ShopIt in some ways because you have more postage options and you can charge a local and international fee plus offer postage discounts if the customer purchases several items in the one order.
There are two shop options available:
free basic shop and the
verified full feature shop ($12 per month). The feel and layout is similar t…

If you are interested in selling your work on this site, the easiest way by far is to use the
shopit application which is
FREE.
1. You need to register then set up your store first on
Shopit. Add your products, prices and shipping charge.
Disadvantage: You can charge a different shipping fee for each item but only a flat shipping fee is available whether you are sending it locally or internationally.…

Wether or not I am an "artist" or not is up to the viewers. But... I do have between 20 and 30 avid gardeners coming to my home on the 29th to look at my garden and my art!! The Coffs Harbour Garden Club is on its way! :))

Hi everyone,
I'm really thrilled to say that I'll be having my very first solo (ish) exhibition as part of the SALA (South Australian Living Artists) Festival in August and I am so excited about it!
I say solo-ish because there will actually be five artists in the building, which is a big cellblock in the historic Adelaide Gaol, but we will display as solo artists (we have an entire wing of the cell block each!).
The SALA festival is on from August 7th until August 23. The Adelaide Gaol is op…

Hello everyone!
I have been as busy as a blow fly in a jam tin (again!!) with setting up a new site where I can sell my photos and photos of my art as greeting cards, prints and calenders. Its very exciting and the quality of the products is excellent! I am still waiting to hear more news regarding the wall murals I have my sights set on (sigh!), so...to keep myself busy and perhaps get some further recognition..I took this path http://gardenjools.redbubble.com . Please let me know what you thin…

Hi everyone!
I have such exciting news. I have been asked to paint a mural on the main wall of the toilet block at the Beach Reserve here in Woolgoolga!!! I have some ideas for such a large piece (it would have to be at least 15m!), but am wanting to involve some art students and other local kids to help me. So...once I get the "official nod"...I'll round up the budding young artists and throw some ideas around. There is also talk of me commanding a much larger project in Woolgoolga...more on th…

Like owls Tawny Frogmouths are nocturnal and it was after returning from an evening walk on a spring night that this wise bird caught my eye.
The evening was warm, still and silent and although he sat motionless perched high on a telegraph wire, it was his yellow eyes, as bright as the stars surrounding him that caught my attention. I gazed into his eyes for what seemed like a couple of minutes yet it is was as though time stood still. I too felt like I was motionless and blending into the stil…

Our cat "Domino" who has been with us for 15 years has been very sick these past few days and after a second blood test this morning she has been diagnosed with having an incurable cancer so we made the heart wrenching decision of putting her
"to sleep" and I am an emotional wreck at the moment. Domino was a beautiful cat who enjoyed a wonderfully happy life and I know it was the right decision but it's still very, very hard and I miss her so much.

Am sitting here watching and listening to the cyclonic conditions of outside!!! This is unbelievable. It is like a cyclone that has lasted for 48 hrs and does not look like letting up just yet. There is massive power shortages, destruction to homes, businesses and vehicles. Roads are getting washed away as well as shorelines and river banks. Schools have been shut and residents have been advised to stay indoors and off the roads. Grafton is in serious trouble with the banks of the river predicte…

The Government (in its great wisdom!) is, as I speak arranging to build a gas pipeline through The Kimberley region In Western Australia. Why they think this a much better idea than using the infrastructure already set up in the Pilbara is totally a mystery to me and the rest of our country! Our Federal Environment Minister - Mr Peter Garrett is promising to stall this project, but needs our help by nominating The Kimberley for World Heritage status (I always thought it had it!!!). Once the nomi…

It’s been quite a while since I last updated properly, due to a couple of reasons. Uni assignments and exams are building, and sadly I’ve had not much time to create many artworks of late. Secondly, what time I have had has been spent completing the illustrations for ‘The Voyage‘ - the debut poetry chapbook, by Brisbane poet Zenobia Frost - which has been a delightfully imaginative project.
This has been my first, published illustration project, and I am grateful I was granted full creative fre…

A few weeks ago I visited Currumbin Valley in the Gold Coast Hinterland, Queensland which is one of the most beautiful places I have been to. The drive through the valley was stunning with canopies of green trees over-hanging the narrow roadway which wound its way past homesteads, scattered along this scenic drive. It was a beautiful sunny Sunday morning with hardly any other traffic on this secluded twisty road. I had my binocul…
