Hi Sandy,
Glad to hear that your eye is fine!
I've not produced much lately! Have been to Hong Kong visiting daughter & grandsons (5 & 3) and am catching up on dog portrait commissions. I've been going out to Pine Rivers Gallery just to be there, sell raffle tickets & talk to people etc. I bring some pastel work so I'm not idle. It's not very busy during the week although there was a busload from Redcliffe there for lunch and exhibition last Tuesday which was fun.
Tomorrow I'm doing a Birds Queensland (I'm a member) photography morning and also Wader identification at Toorbul (opposite Bribie) - hope to get some good photos.
Isn't it horrible all that oil devastation? It makes me sad...and mad that our wildlife dies & suffers.
Yours
Lise
Hi Sandra, Have just been on site and changed my pictures around, been very slack of late but needed to badly update my page. Like your latest work you have added, hope you been painting heaps. I have been painting flowers and not so much wild life, but have a project on the go for a triptyc (can't spell) of barn owl in acrylic. Pushing my boundaries.
Keep painting, Jenny
Thanks that would be good. I use to have a programme that you could put sold across the painting. That went when one of my past computers crashed and have never done it since. I misunderstood as I thought it was either having a folder or having a slide show. I am signing off for the night have had a very bad case of the flu...........Sandy
Time is running out for me as we go away on the 11th but will keep dropping in from time to time.
Hi Sandra, You can't delete a slide show but you can delete photos and albums so maybe you need to simply delete the albums you no longer require and the slideshows will disappear. As for creating a SOLD sign on an image, you could use a watermark on the photo perhaps. There are many watermark programmes available and you can see on some of my pictures that I have created my signature - this is a watermark so you could include your name, date and SOLD as the watermark. If I get time, I will do an article on watermarks and suggested programmes. Lesley
Hi Annalise, yes we are going away for 6 weeks to Canada, Alaska, and a wee peek at America. We leave the 11th August. I have 1 hopefull and 1 booked gallery for the group next year. The booked one is back in Toowoomba with International animals and that is June / July. I have to ring the other gallery about Jan/Feb next year.
Thanks for the welcome! I'm hoping to put some work up when I get a bit of spare time. Have had gallery duty today (Samford)
Are you going away again??
Cheers
Annelise
You'r welcome and I will add a couple of art exhibitions tonight. I only have to 2 weeks until we go away for 6 weeks so all will be quiet from me for awhile.
Thank you for inviting Katherine and I guess the best place to provide the information is in the Galleries and Exhibitions section. Thanks Sandra for all of your help so far, I really do appreciate it. Lesley
Hi Sandra, you will find info on current shows in the Galleries and Exhibitions tab a the top of the page and please add to it if you discover any others. I can't do this by myself and I encourage members to contribute as much as possible to this site. Lesley
Hi Sandra, Thanks for the comments. Yes i do remember your work. That was my old gallery in Urangan where you exhibited, was taken over by Laurene & Neil King. Hope things are going good for you. Have just come from bay myself. Things have slowed down a bit to 12 mths ago. Thats the economy for you. Keep up the good work. Chris
