Golden Trees

Celebrating our Wattle trees, as soul trees, and flames of golden fire. These trees ( acacia) have been sacred since Ancient Egyptian times. They were the great trees of life and death, an of personal transformation, when they were grown in the courtyards of the temples of Osiris. They are also sacred to the Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Hindu, Buddhist, Chinese, and South American traditions.
So say hello to the next wattle that you see. They are special.

Hi Helen
Sorry for my late reply, have had a lot happening with family. In answer to your question re Photoshop - I do use, but try to keep most of my work as natural looking as possible. Hope you had a great trip! Kind regards, Marilyn :o)

Hi Helen. Thanks for your kind message

Well I'm glad last week is over. What with my hand. My Father in Law died on Tuesday, he was 87 and on Friday a friend of ours their 33 year old son committed suicide. Can't do a lot of typing as I can only use my left hand thumb at the moment. John

Thanks Helen. I love the much maligned curlew! Their markings are so lovely. Your paintings are great - they seem to me to have such a spiritual dimension. What media do you use?

Hi Helen,

Great to see you sharing your beautiful work. I can tell from your paintings that you have a deep connection to nature as you have captured the beauty, shapes and colours in a very unique way.

Thanks Helen. It's certainly been a hectic week. I didn't sell anything but a number of my business cards were taken, I met some wonderful other artists and photographers with everyone keen on sharing their experiences, suggestions and tips. I had a wonderful time and will certainly particpate again next year. You should participate next year, your work is awesome!!! Maybe I will exhibit some paintings next year as well! xxx Kathie
