Maybe you could start by uploading some of your photos and refer to the note on the Main Page - Problems uploading Photos and you will see instructions there to help you. You can also change your theme on your page, include your own picture as your avatar and start discussions. Refer to the FAQ tab as well and there is a lot of information to help newbies in there. I hope you are not too daunted and please just ask any of us for help.
