Hi yes my dogs are gorgeous. i have a 100 acre farm that has lots of wildlife to photograph on it. I am blessed in that way. I had a better look at your works tonight, love your squirrel glider and the gecko drinking.

HI, lovely to hear you are so busy travelling overseas. After we came home from out 6 weeks trip and because he had passed through so many airports and customs that everything I put my head on the pillow I was boarding a plane.

I rang the gallery and they said that exhibition has been very busy and some sales had been made. I didn't ask if there were any new ones.

My eyes are doing really well and I don't need glasses. I do have a floater in the right eye and he said I would have to live with that for another 7 months or so and to go and get a pair of glasses from the chemist just for reading the newspaper until the floater has disappeared.

The oil slick is awful for the environment and our wildlife. In was listing to the T.V. tonight a the political mud slinging. A certain man needs to get his priorities in the right order.

I am going to try and make it to the next QWASI meeting. Will have to look it up for when it is on...........Sandy

Good morning Annelise, you do beautiful photos. Like a lot of us 3/4 of my photos were before I got my digital camera. I thought I would drop you a line to just say hello and see what is happening in your world of art. ....Sandy

Annelise, that I did not expect. I thought I would get just a certificate. I was at the park two years ago and it had certainly gone down. That will come in very handy. I will make a weekend of it. Congratulations on your win also. Yes the patch has come off today I can all the marks on walls that looked clean to me so I have had a morning of being busy. I should be able to see what I am painting now........Sandy

Hi Annelise. Thanks for your kind words. I generally use a f stop of about 11 or 16 and generally a shutterspeed of around 250. It does vary and when I use filters then it all changes. All the best. John

I love your new pet portraits - they are all stunning and you manage to capture the personality of the dogs in all of them.

That's an Eastern Brown Snake, crazy buggers they are.. not to be messed with!

I'd love to get into painting, I was mainly into drawing and sculpture through school years, but once I could afford a camera I didn't look back! If I could paint I would give it a go, but I'm hopeless with brushes..
