Hello Lesley, Thank you for opening such a wonderful site where we can display our talent. I'm a country girl from Dubbo and I am in awe of the wonderful animals and nature that we have to photograph. I will look forward to your comments and enjoy looking at all your photos. It's great to be inspired by other photographers.

Took me a while to join - and here I am. I love capturing the beautiful and unusual in nature. And am pleased to find another avenue to share my love of photography.

I continue to be inspired, amazed, humbled, and overjoyed by our diverse Australian Landscape with it's plant and animal inhabitants. The more I experience the beauty and wonder, the more I want - one photograph is never enough, one trip is never enough, one moment of feeling that soul riveting connection to nature is never enough. I've looked into the eyes of an Alberts Lyrebird in Lamington National Park and seen reflected there a universe of secret existence lived amid the ferns and mosses - lives we have so little understanding of. I've stood in awe facing down raging bushfires in the Blue Mountains - feeling my soul being ripped out as every tree exploded or crashed or was consumed in its path. Only to return to scene months later to see rebirth from the scars. Red tips pushing through the ashes, sap weeping from charred trunks. My camera and I are natures witnesses, and our journey has only just begun.

Hi Lesley!

Photography is another passion of mine (probably because I could never live long enough to paint all the things that inspire me:). I mostly shoot for my own pleasure (as opposed to exhibiting) as I just don't have the time. I do sell on RedBubble though, and have just added a photography gallery to my new website.

Its nice to have somewhere to admire aussie talent!

Welcome to the brand new community designed especially for Australian wildlife photographers. I created this community site as an avenue for Australian artists to launch their work, network, share and build resources, gallery openings, recommended websites, books, blogs, marketing, equipment and selling of work etc. I have personally found a lack of opportunites like this for Australian photographers as most of the communites are for American audiences but not any longer ... Looking forward to meeting you all. Lesley
